R&B was briefed to reinvent the way the Australian Seafood Industry presents itself on the international exhibition circuit and communicate Australia’s clean and pristine environment, high quality produce, diversity and industry sustainability.
The Australian Seafood exhibition was designed for the Euro-seafood Expo in Belgium, May 2007 and 2008. The installation and subsequently present Australian Seafood at exhibitions and trade events around the world.
R&B set out to brand the Australian Seafood industry as a world class supplier of high quality produce. With a 200m2 area, R&B divided the stand into key sections, a ‘Main Hub’ for all enquiries, the ‘Sea Lounge’ for private meetings and functions, the ‘Seafood Cafe’ for tastings and demonstrations and individual stands for advertisers to promote their businesses within specific seafood categories. The large sails, a prominent feature of the design, were used as a projection tool and as a mechanism to stand out from the crowd. Reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House, they also served as a visual recognition of brand Australia.
R&B designed the logo and all conceptual and graphical elements of the stand, successfully branding Australian Seafood as a world class supplier of high quality seafood product. Project management of the construction and technical renders were handled by DNA design of Brisbane.
