MTC Group:
Originally a specialty coffee estate located in Northern NSW, Mountain Top Coffee diversified into land management and the farming and processing of the region’s coffee. The shift in core business required a quantum shift in the Mountain Top Coffee “brand architecture”: /services/brand-architecture/ and how the company communicated with its stakeholders and markets worldwide.
R&B developed MTC Group, a brand which represents the complete coffee cycle that MTC group now governs. The original Moutnain Top ‘crop to cup’ message was depicted visually in a simple corporate style and adapted as the master brand. With the MTC Group exporting various grades of green coffee from the region, R&B established several sub-brands which communicate the quality and price point of each grade of green coffee. Collateral for the master brand and sub-brands – including brochures, posters, sample bag packaging, hessian bags and website – was designed for use in Europe, the USA and Japan.
Defining quality through branding had never been done successfully within the green coffee industry. With the assistance of R&B, MTC Group has now set that precedent and as a leader in the Australian Coffee Industry, MTC Group is now able to move forward with clear brand architecture and a visual communication strategy for all elements of its business.
