Alleys Restaurant & Bar refreshed!
Alleys Restaurant & Bar embarked on a new direction to focus on a menu made up of fresh, locally-sourced produce - including their very own veggie patch! The refreshed brand needed to reflect this new approach and values to attract a new and diverse audience, while remaining as exciting as ever to the existing clientele.
With a new focus on sustainability and local produce, beautiful
rustic imagery was an essential element to the new brand in
telling the story of Alleys Restaurant & Bar’s new direction
in a vibrant and effective way.

Art direction for photography
Type to Tell a Tale
The carefully selected primary typeface, Archer, creates a slightly historic and eclectic feel to the brand - with the
strength of the caps characters
juxtaposed by the friendly curvatures
of the lower-case characters.
The Photography Brief
We teamed up with photographer Paul Bamford to capture the correct mood for the imagery and create a versatile library for Alleys Restaurant & Bar's future marketing material and various collateral. The imagery was to capture food and instruments as close to their original state as possible - with meals deconstructed to their simplest form and utensils presented against strong backgrounds.
The new logo is a reflection of Alleys Restaurant & Bar’s evolution and future direction as well as a natural progression from the previous branding.
