Light Rail is set to redefine how we travel on the Gold Coast. We just need to get through a little construction first.

Gold Coast Rapid Transit

Gold Coast Rapid Transit

The Gold Coast Rapid Transit project will establish Queensland’s first light rail system, with services due to start in 2014. The first stage of the project will unite 16 stations over a 13km route from Griffith University and the new Gold Coast University Hospital through the Southport commercial district, nightlife and tourism hub of Surfers Paradise and finish in cosmopolitan Broadbeach, with future southern extensions planned.

We aimed to create an online presence as modern and slick as the light rail system itself, while clearly communicating construction and traffic news as

well as keeping the community informed and focused on the benefits the

Rapid Transit system will bring to the Gold Coast.
