Data is King:

One of the biggest hurdles for any business is knowing who their customers are. Some organisations have it down pat, and these are usually high value sellers such as car dealers and real estate agents. These guys are often in touch with past customers letting them know about that newly released car model, or a great investment property opportunity. The reason these guys are so good is generally you have to tell them all your personal particulars during the sale process, giving them clean and valid data to bug you forever more. And it must work, or they wouldn’t bother!
