R&B Wins ‘Best Retail Website’ At 15th Annual AIMIA Awards!:

The Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA), Australia’s peak industry body for digital and interactive content, has named R&B’s Champagne Gallery winner in the Best Online Retail Category at a glitzy ceremony attended by over 700 industry leaders at Sydney’s Australian Technology Park.

Champagne Gallery was named the winner from a stable of seven world-class finalists in the Best Online Retail category, including ABC Shop Online, Berlei, Crumpler, Mimco.com.au, Snowgum and Inlite.

The judges praised the multi-faceted Champagne Gallery website for its versatility in not just offering consumers an online store, but an online destination for lovers of Champagne. “This is more than just retail,” the judge commented. “This is shopping, education, and knowledge combined. I could spend hours on this.”

R&B Digital Director Rob Bare recognised the efforts of the R&B team in accepting the accolade in front of Australia’s digital community. He thanked R&B Creative Director Bel Bare, Web Designer Pete Morris, Lead Developer Henry Singleton and Internet Marketing Specialist Jay Stockwell for their dedication in creating and developing Champagne Gallery.

The AIMIA Awards are the Digital Industry’s night of nights, with the evening’s 25 winners named from a record breaking number of entries. AIMIA CEO John Butterworth praised the outstanding winners and finalists, and the progression of Australia’s digital industry. “The winners and finalists this year have shown how strong the depth of talent is in Australia,” he said in an address to the attendees.
